After a two year hiatus, my website is finally back up in time for some BIG NEWS…
I’m excited to announce a landmark event in my life… My PREMIER SOLO EXHIBITION, “Postcards From the Land of Yod” is coming to the Borrego Art Institute in Borrego Springs, California! The show will run May 7th to October 2, 2022 and feature over 30 signed and framed limited edition archival gicleé prints (available for purchase) as well as a few other surprises.
It is such an honor to have my work on display at this small, refined gallery in the desert. I’ve spent a lot of time in Borrego Springs in recent years and have found it a tremendous source of inspiration and healing. Nestled at the bottom of a mountain valley, its surrounded by one of the most breathtaking surprises of southern California–the Anza-Borrego Desert. This landscape, featured on my home page, is the home to a spectacular spring super bloom in the springtime, and possesses an undeniably moving and spiritual vibration year-round. At night, this “Registered Dark Sky Community” also offers some of the best stargazing imaginable.
Because of its remote location, I was inspired to create a special experience for visitors willing to adventure out to the gallery. By scanning a QR code on display only at the gallery, visitors will have access to a virtual “Media Lounge” on my website. This dynamic experience will showcase evolving content over the course of the five month exhibition and encourage repeat visits. In it, you may read back stories on photographs, hear personal accounts from the road, or enjoy video vignettes made of the many places the photos were shot.
This show is the culmination of a lifetime of delayed dreams. That it is happening is an extraordinary event. I’m so humbled by the opportunity and I hope you have a chance to see it and share in this with me. But if you cannot make it to the show, please know how much I have appreciated all the encouragement, support and kindness I have received. Lastly, I want to thank curator Kay Levie of the Borrego Art Institute, for this opportunity. I’m so grateful for your generous encouragement in giving me this opportunity! THANK YOU!
